Jeffrey P. Newhouse

Jeffrey’s comprehensive tax planning strategies are tailored to meet each client’s specific financial and personal needs. Well versed in domestic and international tax issues, Jeffrey provides insight into areas such as personal taxation, trust and estate planning and corporate reorganizations to his clients.

Applying his expertise in the area of taxation, Jeffrey is a tax leader at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario (ICAO) School of Accountancy and is a regular lecturer at Foran Financial Institute.

Jeffrey has spent many years practicing tax. Prior to co-founding NewhouseRusin, Jeffrey articled with an international accounting firm and then managed the tax department at a mid sized Bay Street accounting firm. He is also a graduate of Ryerson University’s Honours Bachelor of Commerce program, the University of Waterloo’s Master of Taxation program, and successfully completed the Certified Financial Planner designation.

Professional affiliations include membership in the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario, Canadian Tax Foundation, Society of Trust & Estate Practioners and Financial Planning Standards Council of Canada.
